Changing Horizons-The Management way

Changing horizons- The Management way

All started with a casual talk b/w me and my dad while driving back to home from IGI airport, New Delhi- "Son, Are you enjoying your Job? Are you happy with the work you are doing?" No was the answer by me in a flash. Never knew the lost smile on my face could have made my Dad judge that "I needed a change". I agree, gently spoken was the reply by my dad.

I knew this journey to my home was going to be the toughest one, it was time to face high paced and bang on target bouncers one by one and i was kinda unprepared for it...huh huh!!!

" What do you plan to do next? Are you sure of what you need to do? " - Dad

" Completely sure, but not sure which road (referring to a means to shift from IT to Management) shall i take to reach the destination"- I replied while crossing Dwarka (Located in New Delhi) Fly Over. Never new Dwarka would open the Dwaar (door) so easily for me :), else i would have said this long back while i used to cross this fly over in previous years.

Little did i know that so easy would be the solution.

Dad- The solution is simple, start looking at and doing the things - "The Management way"- Horizons will change automatically.

A little piece of advice and i was in cloud 9, imagining a "Horizon change" for myself soon.
Withing few days we fixed up a meeting with a consultant in Delhi.

A tete- a tete with a consultant on a sunday afternoon spurred colors of joy and will to reach my destination. Here I am, unbeaten by hurdles on the top of my dream to move ahead to my next destination- Bradford B-school.

Yes, It's time to Change Horizons- The Management way
